We had planned to expand into the next bay to give us a little more room and set a finish date for August 1st, this year. Of course, there were many things to be done before the big day, but we pressed on and finally were ready. It actually was the day of my birthday when they installed the carpet and moved absolutely everything. Yep, it was a complete mess. Now, that was a long day. And we did it a week early.
We now have a 5-foot opening with step and railings from one big room into the rest of the office. WOW, there is soooo much more room! No more bumping behinds trying to get around each other. With one of the girls 9 months pregnant there was even less room to squeeze by each other. But everything is now done and we are into our new space with much needed additional room for the wigs. New shelves, large posters, cabinets and a private room for trying on wigs has really made the shop classy. I will send along a photo when I get the rest of teh touches done.
We still want to be mainly on the Internet but if someone should want to come by and try aon a wig before purchasing than we can now do that in style. Please stop by the web site as we have new lines for Jon Renau and Raquel Welch. The new fall line will be coming soon as well. Thanks for your support, Donna

I had to make an unexpected trip out of town to see family that I had not seen in years. I grabbed tow wigs for the trip. One short wig from the Raquel Welch mystique collection, and one long wig by Jon Renau-Zita. They looked so good. Most everyone liked the long wig on me best, but I preferred the short wig (mystique). They were both fun to wear and looked great so I will be wearing them more often. The Zita, by Jon Renau, is a stacked color wig, and different than the regular highlighted wigs. You just got to check it out at http://www.thewigstop.com/ . It sure made having a "good hair day" much easier and lots of fun. I make sure I always have a wig around for these emergencies. Even my mom now wears a wig most of the time. (Yes, she got it from me), and everyone thinks it is her real hair too.
